Frequently Asked Questions — Comparing Projectors

How many projectors can I compare at once?
Up to three (3) side-by-side. If you add a fourth, the oldest one in your list is replaced automatically.
Where do the specifications come from?
All data is pulled directly from each product’s Specification tab, so the comparison always matches exactly what you see on the product page — nothing is retyped or edited for this tool.
How should I compare projector brightness?
Carefully! Across the whole industry, spec-sheet lumens are the manufacturer’s official rating measured at the light source — real on-screen brightness is always lower, for every brand. So treat rated figures as a rough guide, compare them side-by-side here, and then check the real projection photos and room-type guidance on each product page. Full explanation in our honest guide: Projector Brightness, Explained.
Why does “Differences only” hide some rows?
That toggle hides rows where all selected models have identical values, so you can focus on what actually changes between them.
Can I compare accessories like screens, mounts or cables?
The Compare button appears only on products with a full Specification tab (typically projectors). Accessories don’t carry full spec sheets, so they are excluded.
Any tips for choosing between two close models?
Start from your room: its lighting, the screen size you want, and how far the projector will sit from the wall. Then weigh native resolution, throw distance, smart OS (Genuine Android TV models have official apps built in) and ports. Still stuck? Our 60-Second Smart Finder weighs all of this automatically — or ask a real human on WhatsApp.
